FAQ's

Q) Does drilling the clearance for the Heel Clicker weight to rotate change the balance or durability of the clutch? 

A) NO!  We have tested this system in every clutch made with no balance or durability issues.  Just ensure that an equal amount of material is removed from all three clearance areas.  This will ensure self balancing.  A lot of the top level racers are running this product.  Some of these engines make well over 280 hp and run over 9500 RPM.  This system is proving to be very durable and reliable.

Q) Do I have to use studs?

A) Yes! 144, 1.1875 studs are recommended.  An 1.25 track or mountain paddles will also work fine.  If you don't have any kind of traction to begin with, you might not see the horsepower gains others will.

Q) I have seem to lost my top speed, what should I do?

A) Moving weight to the tip of the weight will do the trick, this is tip used by many top tuners.  By running a lot of the weight in the middle of the weight, its good for aggressive trail and SnoX conditions.

Q) Can I use other spring with these weights?

A) Yes, but if you don't use a stiff spring like the ones included in the kit, your engagement and peak rpm band will be way off.  So always use a strong spring.

Q) How can I get my engagement up?

A) By removing weight from the shoulder location the RPM will rise.  Also using larger diameter roller will tuck the weight in further and engage higher.

Q) How can I lower my engagement?

A) You can add more weight to the shoulder section, or use one of the weaker springs included in the kit.

Q) I am shifting at too high or too low of an RPM, how do I change that?

A) A good rule of thumb is, to add or subtract 1 gram of weight for every 200 RPM of over or under rev to the tip location.
